As a leading and prominent Sittingbourne sports club, we have a clear plan and vision for growth and development over the next 5 years and beyond. This plan will see our seniors competing on a national level and also building a club that has a positive impact to all members young and old, visitors and most importantly the local community. We recognise that as town's sports club we have a responsibility to help, support and improve the community having a positive impact where ever we can.

Who we are:

We have 3 senior Women's teams, 5 senior Men's teams, masters teams, mixed teams, youth teams from ages U14s to U16s and multiple minis and junior teams from ages U6s to U12s. We currently have over 300 members and over 100 youth section members and we are seeing these numbers increase consistently year on year. Every season we see on average 10,000 visitors pass through our superb facilities - being our own pitch and pitch-side clubhouse. We are a family-orientated club that takes hockey seriously and we welcome all to be part of the club in any which way they like.

Community through hockey:

Our community work within the Sittingbourne and Swale area is based around offering FREE hockey to groups of different ages, backgrounds and abilities across the local area. Giving those groups a chance to be part of something positive, in a safe and well-structured environment and make friends through sport that is both challenging and fun whilst learning new skills and building friendships. We are always looking to expand what we do, but currently we do the following:

🏑 Provide FREE hockey training sessions to all U12s by way of weekly training sessions (you can sponsor the junior section click here).

🏑 Organise and provide FREE competitive games against other clubs every month.

🏑 Provide FREE hockey sessions within primary schools via our All Star Hockey Project. We currently coach in two primary schools and we are looking to expand into further.

🏑 Provide FREE hockey sessions for those that are physically and mentally impaired via our Bourne Flyerz HC.

🏑 Provide a FREE Young Leaders Programme to encourage young adults to learn new skills via coaching and umpiring hockey, which they can then apply these skills in their adult life as well as put towards things - like Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

🏑 We are teaming up with Mentalk Health Sittingbourne to provide FREE walking hockey sessions as an outlet and a chance to be part of something positive and make new friends.

What we do every year:

🏑 Each season we host 4-5 senior games every Saturday at our superb facilities from the beginning of October to the end of March.

🏑 Provide over 11 hours of hockey training every week from U6s to senior performance level hockey.

🏑 Host county training sessions as well as games.

🏑 We have over 20 England Hockey qualified coaches.

🏑 We have over 15 England Hockey qualified umpires.

We have a variety of packages that start at the most popular club pitchside banner to team sponsorship, youth section sponsorship, pitch sponsor to full club title sponsor. Each package builds on the next and provides maximum exposure to our club members, current sponsors and the wider community.

Our sponsorship packages start at £450 +VAT p/a being the Club pitch-side Banner. This includes a 3.8m x 0.8m PVC pitch-side banner, rotating logo on our website homepage, your logo, contact details and a 200 word pitch on our website.

Hello and welcome to Sittingbourne Hockey Club; the number one hockey club in Sittingbourne and Swale.

We are a Kent-based hockey club in the Borough of Swale currently running 5 senior men's teams and 3 senior women's teams with multiple youth teams as part of our ever growing Youth Academy.

We work closely within our community providing various sessions for all ages and abilities via our Hockey 4 All initiative.
