On Sunday 5th October, we saw our first junior girl’s team take part in an U10s tournament. The girls travelled to Tunbridge Wells and we are extremely proud of their hard work, determination and enthusiasm.
Many of the team have only started playing this year and it is amazing how much they have developed and progressed since joining us at SHC. They have all been attending our Minis and Juniors Session every Monday, which run from 6pm-7pm at Borden Grammar School.
A big thank you to their coach - Josh - and all of the parents who were there supporting.
Below are the scores and goalscorers from the day:
SHC vs. T Wells
3-2
Evie x 2 & Olivia 1
SHC vs. Maidstone
1-0
Evie
SHC vs. Sevenoaks A
2-3
Olivia x 2
SHC vs. Sevenoaks B
1-3
Olivia

A special well done to Evie and Olivia for getting the goals at the tournament.
We are really looking forward to watching these girls grow and - in time - make
their way up to play in our women’s section. We aim to ensure that all children have the best support in improving their skills and enjoy hockey at SHC. If you are interested in bringing your child along, please turn up at any of the Monday sessions or email us to find out more information.
