Sittingbourne Hockey Club is gearing up for an exciting Summer Hockey Season packed with activity, fun, and opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. Running from May through July, the club’s summer programme offers a welcoming environment for beginners, experienced players, juniors, and adults looking to stay active and social during the warmer months.
Monday evenings are dedicated to Minis and Juniors, giving boys and girls aged 4–12 the chance to learn new skills, build confidence, and enjoy hockey in a relaxed atmosphere. Best of all, these sessions are completely free, making them the perfect introduction to the sport for young players and families. These sessions will run from 1st June until 13th July 6pm-7pm.
For older players, Wednesday Mixed Summer Hockey sessions provide competitive and social hockey for ages 13 and above. Mixed Summer Hockey sessions will run from 6th May until 22nd July 7pm-9pm, costing £3 per person. On Thursdays, our Walking Hockey offers a slower-paced, inclusive version of the game that focuses on fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment. These sessions will run from 14th May until 16th July, costing £3 per person.
The club will also host a specialist Goalkeeper Camp in June for members wanting to sharpen their skills between the posts. This session will be Friday 5th June 6:30pm-9:30pm, costing £30 per person.
With friendly coaches, excellent facilities at Borden Grammar School and a strong community spirit, Sittingbourne Hockey Club promises a summer full of exercise, friendship, and good times for everyone involved.
