Sittingbourne HC Youth player Christian has been invited to attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. This amazing opportunity brings young people together every four years, from all four corners of the world.
The 25th World Scout Jamboree will take place in August 2024. This opportunity comes at a cost to each individual attending. We all know that for some, they may not be able to afford it, especially if they come from a third world country.
Christian needs to raise £4,000.00. Amazingly, he has raised £2,700.00 so far with just over a third left to raise. A portion of his fundraising supports those less fortunate than us. This allows the youth of the world to be apart of this unique experience, allowing all cultures and backgrounds to be represented.
Sittingbourne HC is hoping that our club members and the wider hockey community can donate what they can. Christian has asked if you could head to his GoFundMe page or say hello too him at the club house. Though maybe not when he is setting up or scoring a goal.
