Sittingbourne Hockey Club continues to raise the bar for goalkeeper development through its exciting partnership with Hero Goalie Co, with plenty more still to come. The collaboration has already had a major impact across the club, providing specialist coaching opportunities for goalkeepers of all ages and abilities while helping create a genuine performance pathway from junior hockey through to senior and representative level.

Founded by former England junior international goalkeeper Keir Starley, Hero Goalie Co has built a national reputation for delivering elite goalkeeper coaching, performance mentoring and technical development. Their philosophy focuses on developing athletic, confident goalkeepers through high-quality, position-specific training and video analysis.

The partnership has already strengthened Sittingbourne’s growing goalkeeping programme, with dedicated coaching sessions, performance support and access to industry-leading expertise. SHC’s commitment to investing in specialist coaching reflects the club’s ambition to become a top-tier hockey club while ensuring every goalkeeper receives the attention and development they deserve.

The upcoming exclusive members-only Goalkeeper Session on 5th June 2026 is another exciting step forward. With both organisations sharing the same vision for excellence, development and enjoyment, this partnership is only just beginning. There are many exciting projects, events and opportunities already in the pipeline, making the future incredibly bright for goalkeepers at Sittingbourne Hockey Club.
