After a successful 2022 summer season, Sittingbourne Hockey Club are hosting another summer season and our junior sessions will be in partnership with The Kent Nirvana Group.
The club has an extensive playing and social membership, which includes, but not limited too, a range of different cultural backgrounds, sexual orientation, genders and many more. This sets Sittingbourne HC apart from other clubs. We also cater for all ages, abilities, genders and backgrounds.
Minis +Junior Hockey
If you’re 12 years or under, please join us on Monday evenings for an exciting hockey programme. Our professional and qualified coaches deliver training session to meet the needs of each individual. Whether your child is brand new to the sport or has played for several years, SHC create an exhilarating atmosphere for everyone.
HIIT in the Park
Do you want to maintain or increase your hockey fitness? Come along to HIIT in Albany Park on Tuesdays, where you are free to work at your own intensity. You can push yourself or just take it easy. This is a session where everyone is able to be themselves.
Mixed Hockey
Mixed hockey on Wednesday evenings is available for those 13 years plus. This is an amazing opportunity to meet new people and enjoy hockey. Whether you’re a club member or not, come and join these fun small-sided hockey matches.
Walking Hockey
Are you looking for something a little different, easy going or a new sport? Maybe you’re returning to hockey?
Our walking hockey sessions, on a Thursday, are leading the way in offering hockey to a wider audience. Walking hockey is just as exciting, fulfilling and entertaining.
Goal Keeper Training
Last but not least, our GK session on a Thursday. These sessions are hosted by our in-house GK coaching team as it is lead by Darren (our 1st XI Men’s and Welsh Master Keeper). This session provides an opportunity for GKs of all levels to develop their game understanding, master their technical abilities and encourage their fellow players to be a better version of themselves.
