Congratulations to our boys they did it! They held their nerve and convincingly completed a must win game against bottom of the league Lewes. It was a must win game for the team who have now lifted themselves out of the bottom two in the England Hockey South East Premier League.
The game was not straight forward with 11 man Lewes taking an early lead but gradually the boys clawed it back with some solid, well structured play. Goals came from M.Neame x 2, I.Burwood, C.Pohio and J.Mitchell completing a well deserved win. Read the full match report here.
Now only being 3 points off 8th position the next two games vs Old Georgians 2s and Sevenoaks 2s are key games to recover from a difficult start to their campaign.
