For the 2022/2023 season, Sittingbourne HC will enter a second women’s team. We have confirmed that our women’s 2nd XI team will compete in Invicta Women’s Div 6. We have had an influx of returning players after they took time off due to covid. While our women's 1st XI have secured the place in Invicta Women's Division 1.

Our recruitment team have been working hard for the 2022/23 season. They have signed Kate Cook from Newcastle Australia. Kate joins us from the Newcastle Premier League, winning four championship titles. Two titles with Central Hockey Club and two titles with Regals Hockey Club. From 2007-2012 Kate also played in the Sydney Premier League, which has produced a large amount of Australian Olympians.

While studying Sports and Exercise Science, Kate represented The University of Newcastle, (Australia) at the Eastern University Games - winning three titles and winning one Australian University Games Title.

Kate has a Level 2 Coach Qualification and is an Australian National Indoor Umpire. The club welcomes Kate and looks forward a successful season with the Women’s 1st XI. Our Festival Week is only a month away and we invite all women and girls, who are 13 yrs + past, present and new to come and join us on Saturday 9 July 2022. On this day, we will hold a number of 6 aside matches in the afternoon, followed by food and drink. Official times to be confirmed.
